Kenya is partnering with South Korea, the United States, and other countries to strengthen its digital and creative media sectors.

According to Eng. John Kipchumba Tanui, principal secretary in the state department for information and telecommunications technology and digital economy, this collaboration is part of a larger strategy to establish East Africa as a global digital media hub.

"To expand digital media in Kenya, we are forming partnerships with countries such as the United States and South Korea. These collaborations will bring in global expertise to elevate our industry," he explained.

Tanui was speaking at the just concluded Kenya Music Festival concert in Eldoret. This yearly event highlighted potential in the digital and creative media sectors.
