Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei, is set to unveil its latest range of mobile gadgets in Zimbabwe today as part of a roadshow to take its products to consumers in the southern African country.

Huawei strengthened its presence in the Zimbabwean smartphone market last year when it set-up a support centre for its smartphones and tablet gadgets in the country.

Now the company is seeking to bring its products to a wider market, in which it will compete against other brands such as Samsung, HTC, ZTE and Nokia.

Ngonidzashe Magwendeza, the company’s representative in Zimbabwe said Huawei will launch its “latest products and solutions” during a roadshow running from Monday to Thursday in Harare.

He said the roadshow launch will utilise “demonstrations and presentations” of the Chinese tech giant’s products. This is expected to have a speedy impact on the market.
