Canva Africa and Paystack have partnered to provide Nigerian entrepreneurs with artificial intelligence (AI)-powered creative tools to support small and medium-sized businesses.

The collaboration arrives at a critical time for Nigeria's entrepreneurial ecosystem, where small businesses are increasingly leveraging digital platforms to reach customers and scale operations.

Under the Paystack Small Business Bundle, eligible merchants receive six months of Canva Business at no cost, providing access to Canva Pro, brand management capabilities, and professional content creation resources.

"Small businesses are the backbone of Nigeria’s economy, and every entrepreneur deserves access to the creative tools to compete in today's digital marketplace," said Bianca Sibiya, Canva Africa lead.

Jumoke Gbeleyi, Paystack SMB programme lead, added: "Working with thousands of businesses across different industries has shown us that accepting payments is only one part of growing a successful business. Small businesses also need access to the right tools and resources to manage their operations, reach customers, and build sustainable businesses.

“Through the Paystack Small Business Bundle, we're bringing together trusted partners like Canva Africa to make those tools more accessible for eligible merchants, helping them invest more in growing their businesses.”

Serving more than 200 000 active merchants in the West African country, Paystack aims to help entrepreneurs create marketing materials, social media content, proposals, and advertising assets efficiently.

The initiative removes common barriers such as limited budgets, lack of specialist skills, and restricted access to professional marketing resources across retail, hospitality, professional services, e-commerce, and the creator economy.
