Cisco, worldwide technology leader and NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader, today announced an expanded partnership to transform how global enterprises access wireless connectivity.

AppOmni, the leader in SaaS security today announced a significant partnership that combines the company’s Zero Trust Posture Management (ZTPM) solution with Cisco’s Security Service Edge (SSE) technology suite to enable zero trust principles at the application layer in Security-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications.

The agreement covers multiple areas of digitisation, including cybersecurity, AI and smart agriculture.

In the new role, Meads will be in charge of Cisco's strategy and commercial operations, and pushing for the adoption of digital technologies.

Located at the University of Nairobi, the centre aims to support Kenya's cyber defence initiatives through skills programmes and training.

The company says Cisco Hypershield allows customers to put security wherever they need to - in the cloud, in the data center, on a factory floor, or a hospital imaging room.

Cisco says the certification indicates that the certified partner has the highest level of consumer credibility in the industry while also providing superior service.

The partnership will see the companies simplify hybrid multicloud deployments and fuel business transformation.
