Nokia Lumia 1020 available in SA within ‘weeks’

Handset maker Nokia says its hi-tech camera smartphone, the Lumia 1020, is to become available for sale in South Africa in the coming weeks.

In a statement, Nokia says the Lumia 1020 is to become available from both South Africa’s two largest mobile operators Vodacom and MTN with monthly contract pricing starting at R399.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 will be available in yellow, white and black, says the company in the statement

The Microsoft Windows Phone 8 smartphone features a 41 megapixel sensor camera.

Last month, ITWeb Africa reported that Nigeria had officially started selling the Lumia 1020.
