FedEx concludes SME Connect series in Kenya
FedEx Express has held its small and midsize enterprise (SME) Connect series, pledging to use the potential of intelligent logistics solutions to help emerging African businesses.
The inaugural event, held recently in Nairobi, Kenya, attracted approximately 74 customers and prospects from the SME categories.
Nitin Navneet Tatiwala, VP of marketing for FedEx Express: Middle East, Eastern and Southern Africa, stated that with over 50 years of logistics experience, the company has helped SMEs navigate the complexities of global trade, optimise their supply chains, and position them for long-term growth.
The official feels that forums such as the SME Connect meetings enable such businesses comprehend and successfully use its tech solutions, as well as create a space for SMEs to provide feedback.
“Beyond logistics, we see ourselves as growth enablers, connecting these businesses to global opportunities and helping them thrive in this digital age,” Tatiwala said.
FedEx says it provides enhanced economy services for cost-effective delivery of less urgent shipments, providing reliable and affordable shipping options for businesses and individuals.
