SEACOM announces cyber security alliance targeting Africa

SEACOM, a provider of connectivity and cloud services, and Forefront, a cyber security managed services firm, have struck an alliance with Cloudflare to provide advanced cyber security solutions across Africa.

According to SEACOM, the goal of this collaboration is to improve cybersecurity resilience in Africa by providing Cloudflare's industry-leading security services to businesses throughout the continent wishing to modernize their infrastructure.

Through the arrangement, SEACOM clients will gain access to a variety of Cloudflare products, as well as managed services.

These include optimisations, integrations, health checks, and local support from Cloudflare portfolio-certified teams.

According to Sajid Khan, SEACOM's Group managing director for digital services, "This partnership marks an exciting new addition to our product portfolio by providing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to our clients."

Graham Turnbull, Cloudflare's account executive, adds, "SEACOM's extensive network infrastructure provides a strong foundation for delivering Cloudflare's solutions, including advanced security and zero-trust services, through the Managed Services Programme. Together, we are empowering g African businesses with world-class internet and security services."
