Liquid C2’s Cloudmania is partnering with AvePoint, a software vendor, to enhance cloud transformation across Africa, open new markets, and capitalise on opportunities for secure cloud adoption across the continent.
According to a joint statement, the alliance will see AvePoint’s data protection, governance, migration, and software-as-a-service management tools integrated into Cloudmania’s portfolio of Microsoft-based solutions.
The partnership comes as research from McKinsey estimates cloud adoption could generate a global cloud value of $3 trillion by 2030, with $797 billion of this value sitting in Africa and Europe. Many of Africa’s high-value businesses are in sectors where cloud can have a significant impact, such as banking, telecommunications, and oil and gas.
AvePoint and Cloudmania say these additional solutions will complement Cloudmania’s current services and help partners and resellers provide secure, scalable, and efficient digital services.
Oswald Jumira, CEO of Liquid C2, went on to say incorporating AvePoint’s solutions into his company’s services enables it to strengthen its existing offerings, equip partners and customers with the tools they need to close cyber security gaps, ensure compliance, and unlock new opportunities for innovation and growth.
The solutions are hosted on Microsoft Azure and leverage regional data centres, which provides alternative to traditional storage-based backup models.
“Africa is one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing markets for cloud. Our exclusive partnership with Cloudmania means we can bring our innovations to a wider audience,” said Mohammed Helaly, senior sales director, Middle East, Turkey and Africa at AvePoint.
