To ensure efficient service delivery, the government requires clear process and decision making that can be traced, transparent, accountable and timely.

So says said William Kabogo Gitau, Kenyan cabinet secretary, ministry of information, communications and the digital economy, who believes this is fundamental to ensure every action is fully auditable.

Towards this end, his ministry is now ready to roll-out a case and document management platform known as F2 that will ensure structured processes, and collaborative workflows within public service that will eventually eliminate the physical movement of paper from one office to another.

Yesterday morning, Gitau met with the Denmark ambassador to Kenya Stephan Schønemann to discuss the roll out of the F2 system that is being implemented with the support from the Denmark government.

Gitau said: “We also discussed other areas of partnership and agreed to fast track the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that is currently under review, that once formally signed, the MOU will anchor and guide partnership and exchange of expertise."
