Mozilla Festival House (MozFest) will be hosted in Zambia later this month, under the theme Collective Action for Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The festival, organised by the Mozilla Foundation, will take place from November 20 to 21, at the Lusaka International Convention Centre.

According to the foundation, the event will explore the power of AI, data, community-centred tech solutions, and social justice in technology in an effort to demonstrate the power of collective action in co-creating a more responsible, trustworthy, and inclusive digital future.

“What makes MozFest unique is our ability to connect technology with activism and art, a formula that’s rare but essential in shaping a more inclusive tech. We are also working in solidarity with multiple social justice movements to co-create a digital future we all deserve,” said Momoe Ikeda-Chełmińska, MozFest director.
