Nokia’s Lumia 1320 is set to go on sale in South Africa in May, says the phone-maker.
The 6-inch smartphone has hi-tech imaging features such as the five megapixel Nokia Camera, Windows Phone 8 operating system, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal user memory and a free digital mapping service.
“There is a definitely movement in the market towards larger screened smartphones, and the Windows Phone user interface really looks great with the extra screen real estate,” says Shaun Durandt, General Manager of Nokia South Africa.
Nokia, in a statement, says the Lumia 1320 is planned to be available from May on contracts starting at R199 per month across all major operators, with an estimated up-front cash price of R4,499.
