Bayobab’s Schepens takes on global connectivity role

Frédéric Schepens, CEO, Bayobab Group was this week elected as the vice chair of the board of the ITW Global Leaders’ Forum (GLF), a global network of telecoms leaders.

In a statement, the organisation said, as vice chair, Schepens, will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the collaborative work and strategic vision of the GLF’s members, who include many international ICT service carriers.

Schepens has been a GLF board member since 2019, and has over 28 years of experience in the international connectivity space.

According to GLF: “His experience building digital infrastructure and leading international connectivity businesses in a wide variety of markets will be highly beneficial to the GLF and the ongoing development and delivery of its programmes.”

Schepens commented: "I am looking forward to serving the international connectivity community and to meaningfully contributing to the ongoing development and success of the GLF and its impactful programmes.”
