Carry1st, a game publisher based in South Africa, announced today a new partnership with streaming platform Audiomack that would allow users in Africa to purchase subscriptions to stream using local payment methods.

Audiomack is a music streaming and discovery platform with over 30 million monthly users, whilst Carry1st gives African consumers access to gaming content.

Additionally, Carry1st's payment solution, Pay1st, allows customers to pay for digital goods using a range of local payment methods, including mobile money, digital wallets, and bank transfers.

With the partnership, Audiomack's day, week, and month pass subscriptions will now be available in local currencies through the Carry1st Shop in Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, Tanzania, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Rwanda, Uganda, and Senegal.

Guillaume Noé, VP of Growth for Platform at Carry1st, commented on the partnership: “Not only are we unlocking popular games, but we're now also unlocking the music that people love."

For Charlotte Bwana, VP of marketing at Audiomack said partnering with Carry1st will make it easier for music fans across the continent to access premium features.

“Carry1st has been impactful in growing Africa's gaming industry for creators and users, and we are confident we can replicate this approach in the music space," Bwana said.
