Zibuza, Youth@Work seek graduates to become AI champions

Edu-tech firm Zibuza and youth@work are offering an a 12-month paid internship for South African graduates to become Artificial Intelligence (AI) champions and support the nationwide rollout of the Microsoft AI Fluency Training.

Zibuza is a South African digital education platform that connects teachers, learners, and education stakeholders through collaborative technology, while youth@work is a partner organisation of YES (Youth Employment Service).

The two organisations say they are ready offer opportunities to graduates to begin careers in AI and education and offer them a chance to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of education, technology, and impact.

“You'll play a crucial role in helping schools and teachers prepare for the future,” The parties say in the LinkedIn post.

To participate, one must complete the Microsoft AI Fluency training, the internship runs from June 2025 – May 2026 and it will be a hybrid session (remote + in-person).

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend and there is potential for renewal or permanent role. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply by 30 April 2025.
