Pay-TV operator DStv has rolled out its mobile product, known as the iDrifta, for the Ghanaian market.
The gadget allows for DSTv subscribers to have a mobile TV viewing experience on popular devices such as the iPhone, according to senior officials of MultiChoice Ghana
“The iDrifta is a plug-and-play mobile DVB-H receiver, specifically designed for Apple mobile devices,” said the country manager of DStv Mobile Ghana, Edward Kwame Owusu.
“After plugging it into your iOS device, the application opens automatically and you can start watching DStv Mobile right away.
"This means that viewers with Apple mobile devices can now access our full range of channels anywhere, anytime – from Africa Magic World all the way through to Nat Geo Wild," Owusu added
The DStv Mobile platform has channels on offer such as Supersport, Africa Magic, CNN, Disney Junior, Channel O, BET and Sony Max. The service can currently be accessed in Accra and Tema metropolis in the greater Accra region.
DStv Mobile already has devices such as the Drifta, Drifta USB and Walka and DStv Mobile on the Ghanaian market.
