Tano Digital Solutions, a pan-African technology services company, was named Top Cloud Performance Award winner at the SAP Africa Partner Summit 2025 this week.

This achievement, according to the company, reflects its growing significance in the continent's tech sector and commitment to providing innovative cloud solutions.

With operations in six African countries, the company provides services in digital transformation, cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, and DevOps.

Tano was founded in South Africa in 2013 and now operates in Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.

The company's client base is diversified, encompassing the public sector, retail, mining, banking, utilities, agricultural, and wholesale distribution.

Wallen Mangere, CEO of Tano Digital Solutions Group, commented: "This achievement is a direct outcome of our clients' trust in us, as well as the Tano team's unwavering dedication and hard work. Despite adverse conditions, our team has dependably completed projects."

In a statement, SAP, an enterprise software firm, said the awards “recognise outstanding achievements, excellence and growth within the partner organisations that support the delivery of digital transformation solutions to Africa's public and private sectors”.

Nazia Pillay, head of partner ecosystem at SAP Middle East and Africa (MEA), added that this year's awards took place at a time when Africa's business landscape is being reshaped by the growing adoption of powerful cloud technologies and the disruptive impact of artificial intelligence.

“As public and private sector enterprises across the continent build new capabilities to meet changing customer demands and eliminate efficiency and uncertainty, the support of experienced, insightful and value-driven technology and implementation partners will be crucial to their success."

The SAP Africa Partner Awards 2025 honoured excellence in six categories, with a particular emphasis on cloud-related capabilities, implementations, and innovations.
