The Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) has launched an online platform to provide entrepreneurs with crucial digital and business skills.

Nokia and Airtel Networks Zambia PLC are working together to develop the Online Entrepreneurship Learning Programme platform.

The programme, launched by Felix Mutati, ,minister of technology and Science, and Ville Tavio, minister of foreign trade and development of Finland, is an accolade to international collaboration in advancing digital innovation, according to ZICTA.

According to ZICTA's director general, Collins Mbulo, the project is consistent with the organization's aim of fostering an inclusive digital society in which young people migrate from technology consumers to innovators, issue solvers, and job creators.

"This is a step forward in shaping Zambia's future in the digital economy," stated ZICTA in a statement.
