Network International has expanded its strategic partnership with Orabank, a Francophone African banking group, to revamp the bank's prepaid and agent banking products.

The partnership that was announced yesterday aims to improve the banking experience for Orabank Group customers and allow the bank's digital transformation, according to Network in a statement.

Network International enables digital payments in the Middle East and Africa, and Orabank Group is Francophone Africa's largest banking group.

Orabank and Network began working together in 2013, when the bank outsourced its issuer processing to the global digital payments company.

The relationship strengthened further in 2019 when Orabank signed Network International as a key partner for an additional seven-year period as it embarked on its digital transformation journey in West and Central Africa.

Ferdinand Ngon Kemoum, Orabank Group CEO said. “We are shaping the future of the digital payment market in Francophone Africa with new products and services that will facilitate our digital payment transformation. This offers an elevated experience for our customers and emphasises our pivotal role in the financial market.”

Similarly, Dr. Reda Helal, Group Managing Director - Processing, Africa and Co-Head Group Processing, Network International, pointed out that expanding the partnership will transform digital payments for the bank's customers in the prepaid and agent banking segments.
