Five Nigerian transport and e-commerce startups emerged from GIZ Lab of Tomorrow’s 17 program.

Five Nigerian transport and e-commerce start-ups have completed the recently concluded GIZ Lab of Tomorrow’s 17 (LoT17) programme.

The Seedstars Capital and Lab of Tomorrow programme sought solutions to transform Nigeria’s transportation and e-commerce sectors.

The programme, which was funded by the BMZ and conducted by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, brought together 23 participants.

Participants worked together to develop digital solutions to improve intercity and last-mile transport services in Nigeria for people and goods.

Cargo Link, Efotainer, MonieMove, SHAPP, and Trade Tracka were the top five performers.

"We are incredibly proud of these start-ups' dedication, resilience, and innovative thinking. Their solutions could truly revolutionise Nigeria's transport sector," said Sheilla Atieno, Africa Programme manager, Seedstars.
