Yellow Card SA picks Kamogelo Mosime as country manager
Yellow Card, a pan-African fintech, has appointed Kamogelo Mosime as its country manager for South Africa.
The appointment comes as the firm just completed $85 million in equity fundraising, after a $33 million Series C capital round headed by Blockchain Capital.
Mosime's new job intends to achieve meaningful change in increasing financial inclusion, facilitating cross-border economic engagement, and building accessible infrastructure in underserved communities.
Furthermore, the fintech believes that with a strong vision and a passion for innovation, Mosime is ready to take the lead and expand the company's position in South Africa.
Prior to joining Yellow Card, the newly appointed country manager worked as an independent partner for MEMP Group, where he focused on expanding the business and supporting investment ties with important clients and stakeholders.
He also worked as manager of investments and strategic partnerships at Tickmill, a multi-regulated, multi-asset broker that provides access to financial products.
He also worked as a corporate finance and global investment specialist at STANLIB, where he honed his skills in corporate finance while also gaining experience in financial accounting and worldwide strategy.
Mosime has a BSc in Accounting and Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I have long believed in Africa’s potential, and this opportunity gives me the platform to drive real change in advancing financial inclusion, enabling cross-border economic participation, and building accessible infrastructure where it is needed most.”
