Powell Tronics heads to Securexpo East Africa
Following on its highly successful presence at Securex South Africa in May 2015, Powell Tronics is taking its access control technology offering to the newly launched Securexpo East Africa 2015 exhibition in Kenya.
Running from 22 to 24 September 2015 at the Visa Oshwal Centre in Nairobi, the exhibition is set to provide visitors with access to best of breed security technology in a highly targeted manner.
Powell Tronics has reserved a 5x2 metre stand space at the exhibition and has shipped a uniquely constructed, environmentally friendly stand shell constructed out of cardboard to the exhibition venue. "We are trying something new with the stand design and in line with our pioneering spirit, we decided the design fits the bill perfectly. We have seconded two of our highly qualified technical and marketing employees to man the stand. Zulmira Ferraz, technical manager at the company, has a strong background in product development and support and Mike Austen has logged many years' of experience in a senior managerial capacity within the African security market," says Powell Tronics managing director, John Powell.
Powell Tronics is following a similar theme to the product offering at Securex South Africa, with a number of high-technology products from its popular suppliers dominating the stand, including Impro's scalable Access Portal range, the new Sigma range of biometric terminals, Safran Morpho's 3D Face and the MorphoTablet™ – the answer to portable biometrics.
Other products include Golmar's latest IP intercom solution, the ATOM biometric template distribution software with Time & Attendance.
Powell explains that in the run up to the event, the company has received a number of enquiries from the Kenyan market for its Atom time and attendance software and welcomes the opportunity to interact with East African visitors who are seeking well established and trusted access control brands from reputable suppliers.
Powell Tronics has a well-established base of sub distributors and resellers in East Africa and will leverage the market exposure that Securexpo East Africa promises to provide. "We are excited about the prospect of growing our footprint in East Africa and will encourage networking with the local market at the exhibition," Powell concludes.
