Mastercard expands product express platform to accelerate fintech innovation across four continents.

MasterCard has expanded its Product Express platform to Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, following a successful launch in Latin America earlier this year.

This initiative enables fintech companies to launch card programs and payment solutions in just 15 days.

The MasterCard Product Express enables fintechs to meet customer needs, and time to market by providing them with the tools, resources and partners required to launch and scale.

Jennifer Premisler, senior vice president of Fintech Solutions at MasterCard said, through the platform, African fintechs can easily select the product that best meets their needs, choose plan-certified partners ready to implement, with live bank identification numbers(BINs) and pre-approved card designs, and the ability to track progress in full transparency across all steps to be completed by all parties.

“We are thrilled to be expanding the reach of the Product Express to more partners, more regions and more solutions. By creating a better experience for all parties, we foster innovation and reduce time to market,” said Premisler

She stressed that the platform also empowers partners to provide experiences that enable their fintech clients to excel in a competitive market.

In its first year, MasterCard, which is actively used in 31 African countries, has on-boarded a range of BIN sponsors, processors, and program managers, including Blusalt, Episode Six, FOO, Giftstarr, i2c Inc., Nymcard, Optimus, Paymentology, and Wema Bank.

President of i2c, Jacqueline White also praised the MasterCard Product Express for empowering them with a competitive edge.

“The experience we provide to fintechs makes us stand out from competition and enables rapid innovation. Everyone at i2c is very proud to be the first processor in the United States to support the program,” she said.
