GOtv expands reach in Nigeria’s Ogun State

Digital terrestrial television (DTT) service GOtv has launched its services in Abeokuta, the largest city and capital of Nigeria’s Ogun State.

GOtv, which is part of Naspers owned MultiChoice, launched the television service in city, which is north of Lagos, over the weekend.

GOtv in Nigeria offers channels such as Africa Magic Yoruba, Al Jazeera and Supersport Select 1.

MultiChoice says its DTT services, via its GOtv offering, has over 547,000 paying households in countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia, Namibia and Malawi.
