Vodacom DRC partners with Emagine

Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) mobile network Vodacom has joined forces with real-time customer marketing software firm, Emagine International, to make use of its campaign management and managed marketing services.

According to a statement the partnership is planned to help the telco deliver contextual marketing solutions to customers.

Emagine's campaign management platform is expected to deliver enhanced value to Vodacom DRC subscribers via smart analytics and personalised multi-channel marketing communications, a statement reads.

Meanwhile, the managed marketing operations service is planned to allow the operator to combine Emagine’s global marketing practice and technology expertise with their own knowledge of their customers and the market in the DRC.

"Emagine’s work with Vodacom South Africa has generated impressive results to date,” Marco Gagiano, managing executive of customer value management at Vodacom International said in a statement.

“We are therefore looking forward to expanding our relationship with Emagine to the DRC. Working with their team of onsite technical and marketing experts, we will be able to deliver even more value to our customers in the DRC and we expect to see the benefits of that internally,” Gagiano added.

David Peters, Emagine chief executive officer and founder said, "Customer satisfaction is hugely important to us and is one of our key differentiators. We’re really pleased that our work with Vodacom South Africa has resulted in a further contract with the Vodacom Group and look forward to working with Vodacom DRC to yield effective campaigns."

Emagine enables telecoms operators around the world to reduce churn and generate net incremental revenue from their customers through real-time campaigns and interactions that are personal, relevant and timely.
