Obscure Technologies appoints Gounden to drive expansion
Cyber security specialist firm Obscure Technologies is widening its reach across Africa in search of new opportunities, and has appointed a new executive to drive this.
The company says is it will soon have new bases in the Indian Ocean Islands, East and West Africa, from where Obscure plans to establish a regional presence. The expansion into new territories will allow it to extend its expertise and support to a broader customer base across Africa.
To accelerate this move, the company has appointed seasoned IT channel executive Yaadhna Gounden as head of development for the African region.
Gounden will be based between the South Africa and Dubai, a situation the company says, enables regular engagement and frequent trips to the expanded territories.
Justin Lee, managing director of Obscure Technologies, comments: "Yaadhna's wealth of experience in cybersecurity distribution and her proven track record in driving partner programs make her a valuable addition to our team. Her unique skill set, and regional market knowledge, will significantly contribute to our mutual success."
