Metrofile, a provider of document management and digital solutions, has announced the launch of new cloud services in East Africa.

The new services, according to the company, would help clients with data security and meeting regulatory standards.

According to a company statement, Metrofile cloud services are designed to meet the specific needs of Kenyan enterprises; tackling growing data volumes, security risks, and the growing demand for Data Protection Act compliance.

The private cloud services are priced in the local currency, which the company claims will insulate clients from exchange rate swings and provide predictable operational expenses.

The company said a local data centre ensures compliance, as well as speed and performance. It also offers 24/7 support, and a self-service portal.

“We aim to create a partnership that supports our customers with flexible payment options and dedicated local support," said Steve Porter, MD, Metrofile Cloud.

"As we embark on this digital journey, we are excited to drive the shift towards a paper light, efficient, and secure business environment," he added.

Jackline Mburu, MD, Metrofile in East Africa, said: "Our cloud services are not just about storage, they're about empowering businesses to thrive in the digital era."
