Italian Sparkle, AI-Bawaba boost Libyan connectivity
Sparkle, an Italian telecom services provider, and AI-Bawaba, a Libyan internet service provider, have strengthened their collaboration by offering corporate connectivity services.
The companies announced the agreement this week, stating that it is based on a redundant infrastructure that relies on Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Bawaba's Libya national backbone and Sparkle's international capabilities to provide Ethernet multi-protocol label switching, a technique used to accelerate network services for businesses.
According to Sparkle, the agreement marks a significant milestone in telecom services in Libya.
The two intend to provide an end-to-end solution with value-added services, leveraging Sparkle's portfolio and international presence, as well as AI-Bawaba's local expertise.
Sparkle stated that Libya is a significant market for advancing digital transformation and provides fertile ground for new opportunities and innovation.
