WigWag, an online payment system, has relaunched under parent company Stitch as Stitch Express.

Stitch Express is intended to help businesses that use e-commerce systems such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Webflow, Squarespace, and others get easy access to e-commerce-optimized online payment options.

WigWag got spun off from Stitch in September 2023 to help the team better understand how to assist merchants of all sizes that want to accept payments online, while Stitch remained focused on serving the wide and complicated payments needs of larger corporate merchants.

Stitch stated that barely over a year later, the WigWag client list has expanded dramatically, and the team has created a portfolio of payment solutions tailored to the demands of e-commerce firms of all kinds.

Today, the company announced that WigWag will rejoin Stitch through Stitch Express to continue supporting businesses that use e-commerce platforms.

“Stitch Express has been designed with the specific needs of e-commerce merchants in mind. It combines what we learned and developed at WigWag with the deep expertise, technical reliability and fast-paced growth of the Stitch platform to bring both worlds closer together,” said Stitch Head of Product and Stitch Express Lead, Danielle Laity.
