Let`s face it, though, with this much energy buzzing around Futurex 2006, even the most switched-on visitor may have a momentary laps of concentration. That`s why Exhibitions for Africa is teaming up with an expert in touch-screen information interfaces to cut through the muddle and bring clients to your stalls like bees to honey.
Tactile Technologies will position digital information kiosks strategically in high traffic areas throughout the Sandton Convention Centre`s two exhibition halls. Each installation will offer touch-screen access to a 3D floor plan of the exhibition, including all halls and levels, with the position of each exhibitor indicated. A search function will also allow visitors to seek out specific products or companies by name.
Every exhibitor automatically gets a free listing in the system, including their company name, their stall`s position in the hall and the industry category. Additional paid-for services are also available, offering the opportunity to position a company or product brand more prominently on the touch-screen monitor or on the kiosk itself.
`Smart Listing`: allows for the placement of the company logo, photographic slides, explanatory text, multiple category and product listings and an exhibition report with statistics.
`Banner Options`: only 15 banner slots are available for purchase, with a limit of five banners per category index. This ensures maximum exposure for the exhibitor`s branding along the top banner of the screen, which will be displayed every time a visitor searches for a stand throughout the duration of the exhibition.
`Screensaver`: when the unit is not in use, screensavers automatically kick in. Each screensaver slot is 10 seconds long and allows for static, animated or video formats. Each screensaver is guaranteed to be displayed twice every hour on average. A 10% discount is available for every additional slot purchased and exclusivity is negotiable.
`Front Navigation Kiosk Branding`: the front space on the kiosk stand itself is available for purchase. Branding will be printed on vinyl and placed on the front of a kiosk for the duration of the exhibition.
