A2P, or application-to-person messaging, refers to any type of communication in which a person receives messages from an application.

The Orange and Vox partnership has identified message fraud and artificial inflation as key issues.

According to a statement, artificially inflated traffic volumes are becoming a major concern in the digital world, posing a financial danger to businesses and mobile operators, as well as a security risk to consumers.

In addition, Orange said it will improve its ability to monitor all A2P SMS traffic, including one-time passwords and consumer notifications.

According to Ehsan Ahmadi, CEO and creator of Vox Solutions, "This collaboration represents a significant step toward improved communication experiences and lasting success."

Orange is Burkina Faso's largest mobile operator, with around 10 million users and a 43.72% market share.
