Flexible payments from the pair are set to remove some financial hurdles and help close the digital divide.

Zinox Technologies, a Nigerian ICT solutions provider, in collaboration with KongaCares, the CSR initiative of Nigerian retailer Konga, has unveiled the “Computerize Nigeria Flexipay” initiative, which includes an interest-free programme designed to break financial barriers to digital access and strengthen Nigeria’s knowledge economy.

The scheme is being debuted at GITEX Nigeria today and targets one million beneficiaries, and is a more holistic approach than simply selling PCs. The pair say their approach addresses three major pain points devices, power, and connectivity, and includes related products, such as iPower inverter solutions for reliable electricity and satellite Internet connectivity, powered by Starlink.

At the core of the initiative is the Flexipay model, which provides students, schools, and communities with computers on flexible, interest-free terms.

“By removing the financial burden of upfront payment, the programme levels the playing field, ensuring that a student’s future is not determined by their economic background or location,” notes a statement by the two companies.

The pair are also calling on government agencies, alumni bodies, NGOs, and private donors to support the initiative, and have developed a transparent quarterly reporting system to encourage stakeholders to contribute to Nigeria’s digital future while ensuring measurable impact.

The programme directly addresses gaps in Nigeria’s educational infrastructure, where limited exposure to modern technology remains a barrier to producing globally competitive graduates.

By equipping young people with digital tools and reliable connectivity, the initiative aligns with national goals of building world-class human capital while promoting inclusive growth.
