The UK–Kenya Tech Hub has partnered with Viktoria Ventures, Anza Village, and POV to launch Startup 360 Connect, an initiative designed to strengthen Kenya’s early-stage investment ecosystem.
The Startup 360 Connect Angel Leads Program, headed by Viktoria Ventures, is at the heart of this alliance. Its goal is to mentor a new generation of angel investors and enable structured capital deployment into early-stage start-ups.
The partners emphasised that Kenya maintains one of Africa’s most active start-up ecosystems, supported by years of deliberate growth and investor education.
They went on to say existing initiatives, such as the African Angel Academy and the Angel Leads Program, have already helped demystify angel investing for the local community.
Startup 360 Connect consists of three complementary pillars addressing critical stages of the investment journey; angel investor training and capital activation, founder readiness via Startup School Kenya (led by Anza Village), and market and venture capital linkages (led by POV).
The final pillar provides exposure to how African businesses prepare for international expansion, particularly into the UK.
At the end of the program, each participant will contribute $1,000 to a syndicated deal that will be deployed directly into selected high-potential companies.
“We have spent years building the foundations of angel investing in Africa, and this program represents the next phase of that journey. It is about moving beyond awareness into action, building confident investors, strong syndicates, and real capital deployment that founders can rely on,” said Stephen Gugu, CEO of Viktoria Ventures.
Applications for the Startup 360 Connect Angel Leads Program close on Monday, 30 January 2026.
