"The TVS iQube in Kenya marks our entry into the African EV market and reflects our continued focus on expanding innovative electric solutions across international markets. It’s a key milestone in our growth journey,” said Peyman Kargar, President, International Business, TVS Motor Company.

The TVS iQube combines high performance with superior comfort. Delivering a peak power of 4.6 kW (on par with a 125cc scooter), it accelerates from 0–40 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Its advanced lithium-ion battery ensures durability and long-lasting performance.

“While the overall African two-wheeler market is growing at 7-10% CAGR through 2030, the electric two-wheeler market is growing much faster, with forecasts ranging from 15%-25% CAGR through 2030-31. EV penetration’s still low relative to the size of the industry and the runway promises to be extremely long,” added Vijay Gidoomal, CEO, Car & General.

With over 1 million customers, TVS iQube has been collectively ridden for more than 17.81 billion kilometres, helping avoid 6,23,595 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to planting 25 million trees, underscoring the tangible impact that electric mobility can create at scale.
