Tactile Technologies wins Elo award

Johannesburg, 30 Mar 2015

Tactile Technologies, the official and sole distributor of Elo Touch Solutions in sub-Saharan Africa, today announced that it had won the Elo ‘EMEA Distributor of the Year' award for 2014.

"Tactile Technologies undoubtedly deserves this award," commented Craig Witsoe, CEO of Elo Touch Solutions. "They have not only produced a great increase in their sales numbers over the past year but have an incredible number of projects in the pipeline."

"We are very grateful to Tactile Technologies as they make us proud to be associated with them," added Servaas Kamerling, president of Elo Touch Solutions in EMEA. "They are a well organised and experienced distributor that is very dominant in the South African market."

"We are obviously very proud to be honoured with this award, as for us it's an acknowledgement of the hard work put in over the years and the many excellent relationships we have built over time," continued Mauro Mercuri, group director of Tactile Technologies. "In addition, it is an acknowledgement and confirmation of the great relationship that we enjoy with Elo Touch Solutions."

"2014 was a great year for us. We won several new projects including ENGEN for the supply of touch monitors to all their sites; Ster Kinekor for all their points of sale touch monitors; and also Queenspark for their PoS," concluded Mercuri. "Our existing resellers had a great year as well and when combined with our new business, 2014 as a whole was a very good year for us."
