South Africa's Standard Bank has made its mobile application available to Nokia Lumia users.

The financial institution announced that its mobile app would be available as a free download from the Windows Phone Store.

"Using the app is easy, simply use your existing Standard Bank internet banking profile details to log in and gain access to all available and actual account balances," the bank says.

The app allows customers to compare the state of all accounts, including all net balances, searching for specific transactions and viewing all provisional (30-day, 60-day and 90-day) statements and transferring funds between any linked accounts, said the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) listed company.

The bank added, paying all beneficiaries preloaded onto your banking profile, buying airtime from all major South African networks including Telkom Worldcall cards and sending money to other local Standard Bank customers would also be enabled.

Other features on the app include locating your nearest Standard Bank ATM, branch or AccessPoint, viewing financial indicators for commodities, foreign exchange rates and shares, and having access to numbers to report lost or stolen cards.
