Orange Botswana launches new broadband solutions to woo SoHo, SME market

Orange Botswana has launched Konnecta Max Pro and Konnecta Max Office Business, two new broadband services targeted at the growing SoHo and SME markets.

According to Orange Botswana the products will address the fundamental business needs of Batswana with affordable unlimited internet connectivity.

Orange Botswana CEO Nene Maiga said the solutions demonstrate the network’s efforts towards digital inclusion. “Throughout the years, Orange Botswana has strived to meet Batswana’s needs for reliable and convenient broadband connectivity. We remain committed to providing Batswana with innovative and digitalised solutions by bringing them closer to what matters most.”

According to Statistics Botswana, internet subscriptions went up by 8.1% in the third quarter of 2021, from 2,288,041 subscriptions in the second quarter of 2021 to 2,472,260.

Though the company has not detailed the intended penetration targets with its new products, Maiga said Orange Botswana to the offering is intended to address fundamental customer needs for affordable, unlimited connectivity.

The Konnecta Max Pro will be available with packages from P399.00 for 6Mbps and Konnecta Max Office will be available on a 12, 24 and 36 months contract basis from P329.00 up to P1, 099.00.
