Ooredoo Group, an international communications company that operates in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, is partnering with Innovatix Systems LLC to provide enhanced cyber security services across its markets.

The new services are already live in Qatar, Tunisia, Kuwait, and the Maldives, with rollout across all Ooredoo operating companies planned before the end of 2025.

Solutions are available in Arabic, English, and French to ensure consistent protection across Ooredoo’s diverse footprint, from Algeria to the Maldives, according to the company.

This comes as the world, particularly Africa continues to battle cyber security threats that come with the rapid digital transformation.

Ooredoo went on to state that the new services are designed to protect customers’ digital assets with security embedded, ensuring seamless, digital experiences while keeping pace with rapidly evolving threats.

The company said its relationship with Innovatix will see the parties provide round-the-clock protection across critical security platforms, including managed security services and 24/7 security operations centre, endpoint detection and responses, and extended detection and response.

“It is critical that security keeps pace with innovation. With Innovatix, we are extending cyber security services to millions of users across multiple countries, multilingual, scalable, and localised — giving our customers the confidence to innovate securely,” commented Najib Khan, group chief business services officer, Ooredoo.

Ahmed Al Mannai, chief executive officer, Innovatix Systems LLC, added: “Our expertise, combined with Ooredoo’s scale, enables us to deliver defense-grade cybersecurity services that meet the highest international standards while being adapted to the realities of each market. Together with Ooredoo, we are ensuring that businesses and individuals can operate with confidence.”
