An agreement has yet to be reached regarding Etisalat’s listing on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

This is according to a report from Amwal Al Ghad, which says the bourse plans to reach an agreement in the “upcoming period”.

The report says EGX plans holding talks with companies that intend listing on the bourse, such as Etisalat Misr.

Etisalat, which has its headquarters in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has been planning its listing in Egypt since March.

Etisalat Misr in Egypt has over 23 million subscribers on its network, according to the country’s ministry of communications and information technology.
