Nigeria: Oracle gears up for Abuja showcase

Global technology firm Oracle plans to next month showcase its innovations in Nigeria next.

Oracle Day 2013 in Abuja is planned to be held on November 5 and come under the theme ‘Converge. Connect. Empower the Modern Enterprise.’

This is set to be part of a series that will see Oracle hold similar events across 30 cities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

"Now in its third year in Nigeria, Oracle Day 2013 promises to be the best yet, with industry experts and customers delivering a content-rich agenda,” said Adebayo Sanni, Country Manager, Oracle Nigeria.

Delegates at the event, he said, are se to learn how business can leverage disruptive technologies such as cloud, mobile, social, analytics and big data as well as the internet.

Headquartered in Redwood City in the United States, Oracle specialises in developing and marketing computer hardware systems and enterprise software products.
