New CEO for MTN Uganda

MTN has recruited Mazen Mroue to head up its Uganda operations.

Mroue, whose portfolio extends from being MTN Liberia’s chief executive officer and the chief information officer at MTN Ghana, takes over from Themba Khumalo as the chief executive of the Uganda business.

A Harvard graduate, Mroue has more than sixteen years work experience in telecoms and information technology management.

Khumalo leaves MTN Uganda to take up the position of group executive heading up MTN operations in thirteen African countries.
