MTN Uganda has partnered with Huawei to enhance the home broadband experience through LinkHome, a smart home management application now fully integrated into the MyMTN app.
The integration gives MTN Home customers access to convenient self-service tools, enabling them to monitor and manage their home connectivity directly through the app.
As FTTH adoption continues to accelerate across Uganda, home broadband has become an essential part of daily life. Families are connecting more devices than ever before for work, study and entertainment, creating growing expectations for fast, reliable and convenient connectivity.
For MTN Uganda, delivering connectivity is no longer enough—the next step is to provide a better digital experience for every household.
Integrated into the MyMTN app, LinkHome brings a range of home broadband management features into a single application. Users can view connected devices, monitor network status, perform Wi-Fi diagnostics, optimise home Wi-Fi coverage and access parental controls, giving them greater visibility and control over their home network.
The market response has been encouraging, with positive feedback highlighting the simplicity and convenience of the service.
Approximately 40% of MyMTN Home app users have already adopted LinkHome, while MTN Uganda has also seen fewer customer support requests related to home Wi-Fi issues, helping improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
