MTN Ghana has launched Business Eye, a new enterprise surveillance service that aims to enhance security, operational visibility, and asset management for enterprises across the country.

The solution is targeted at businesses that operate in high-traffic, asset-sensitive locations such as retail stores, restaurants, petrol stations, warehouses and office buildings.

Business Eye provides continuous monitoring of business premises, allowing organisations to observe activities and respond rapidly to security incidents.

It comes in both SIM-enabled and WiFi-enabled versions, allowing organisations to install the system regardless of location or connectivity constraints.

The platform provides 24-hour remote monitoring with real-time alerts, secure cloud-based video storage, and local SD-card backup for data redundancy.

A solar-powered option has also been integrated to maintain surveillance during power outages, addressing a critical challenge for many businesses.

In addition, the system features two-way audio, allowing users to listen and communicate instantly with people on-site.

Speaking on the launch, Angela Mensah Poku, chief enterprise business officer of MTN Ghana, said the product reflects the company’s broader strategy of delivering value-added enterprise solutions.

“We are committed to empowering businesses with smart, innovative solutions that go beyond connectivity,” she said. “Business Eye provides real-time visibility and control, helping organisations remain secure and efficient even in challenging environments.”

“This launch reflects our dedication to supporting Ghanaian enterprises to stay agile, resilient, and future-ready,” she added.

To facilitate uptake, MTN Ghana has introduced dedicated Internet of Things data bundles tailored specifically for Business Eye customers.
