Wandile Mtshali, CEO of MTN Eswatini for five years, will step down to pursue new opportunities.
Wandile Mtshali, CEO of MTN Eswatini for five years, will step down to pursue new opportunities.

Wandile Mtshali, the CEO of MTN Eswatini for the past five years, will leave to pursue new opportunities, the company announced today.

Wandile has been with MTN for 25 years, where he has held senior positions in several markets and guided the company through key milestones such as best network, top NPS, and respected certifications.

"We thank Wandile for his impactful leadership and wish him success in his next chapter," the operator said.

Jerry J. Soko, GM of Commercial & Operations for SEA, will serve as Interim CEO beginning November 1, 2025, until a permanent successor is appointed by the telco. It also wished Soko well in his new post.

MTN Group CEO Ralph Mupita said, "Wandile's leadership has been instrumental. We thank him and look forward to continued growth under Jerry's interim leadership."
