Mimecast picks Graham Douglas to accelerate growth

Mimecast has appointed Graham Douglas to lead the firm’s global customer and revenue operations, uniting customer success, sales, and go-to-market strategy to further accelerate growth.

According to the cyber security company, as the chief customer and revenue officer, Douglas will use his expertise in customer engagement and his strength in running large global sales organisations, building trusted customer relationships, and his operational rigor to steer the business in delivering more value to clients and partners worldwide.

The industry veteran brings more than 25 years of experience building and scaling high-performing teams across cyber security and technology sectors.

His recent roles include senior vice president of the Americas at Mimecast. Prior to joining the UK head-quartered company, he served in senior global leadership roles at Cloudera, Momentive AI, and Oracle, where he managed enterprise sales teams across North America and Europe during a ten-year tenure.

Douglas graduated from the University of Strathclyde and RMIT University. With his global perspective and extensive experience in cybersecurity and SaaS, he will further strengthen Mimecast’s executive team, noted the firm.

“Graham joined Mimecast eight months ago and has demonstrated his expertise in customer engagement and his strength in running large global sales organisations since day one,” said Marc van Zadelhoff, CEO of Mimecast.

Commenting on his new role, Douglas expressed enthusiasm towards innovation and customer success, noting that his appointment comes at a pivotal moment in Mimecast’s journey.
