Malawi welcomes new ICT cabinet chief

Malawi's President, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, has chosen Harold Mac Brey Msusa as the next Secretary for Information and Communication Technology.

Msusa is a seasoned executive and strategic leader with more than two decades of experience in public affairs, sustainability, regulatory management, and digital transformation in the public, private, and development sectors.

The presidency stated that he has a track record of driving institutional transformation, forming high-impact collaborations, and implementing strategic reforms that match government with innovation.

President Mutharika stated that Msusa's strong background in information sys-tems, public communication, and sustainable development uniquely qualifies him to lead Malawi's digital transformation and ICT agenda, promoting the country's strategic goals as outlined in the Malawi 2063 vision.
