Microsoft’s Lumia 930 smartphone is finally available in South Africa following the phone's official launch in Johannesburg back in June.

According to Microsoft (which previously snapped up Nokia’s handset business), the phone is available in black and white with payment contracts starting at R399 per month.

The new flagship phone runs on Windows Phone 8.1 operating software (OS).

It also boasts features such as a 20-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS optics and optical image stabilisation (OIS) for a flawless video and imaging experience.

The phone is also powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, and has a full HD OLED screen for easy view indoors or out.

It also contains a 2,420 mAh battery that will last more than a day, the statement says.
