Empire Partner Foundation (EPF), a non-profit organisation, has announced the last call for submissions for the upcoming tech awards.
The EPF Tech Awards are an annual event that recognises outstanding accomplishments and breakthroughs in the technology industry across a variety of categories.
The Awards honour exceptional individuals, organisations, and businesses that have made major contributions to social development and the technology sector.
The awards strive to recognise achievement and innovation in the tech industry through a diverse range of award categories.
Lifetime accomplishment, tech sector leaders, youth and innovation, global influence - foreign enterprises making an impact in SA, outstanding women in tech, young/emerging innovator, and entrepreneur of the year are among the award categories.
The nomination deadline has been extended until today, October 13, 2023, and to submit a nomination, go to the EPF Tech Awards website or email awards@empirepartnerfoundation.org.
"We urge local companies in the sector to join us to celebrate and grow talent in South Africa," said Joanna Govender, CEO of EPF Tech Fund. "We are dedicated to business development and youth programmes. We can help entrepreneurs and minimise unemployment if we work together.
"We are creating a mutually beneficial relationship to help grow and develop the tech sector and empower young entrepreneurs."
