Johannesburg's technology and innovation hub, JoziHub, says it has notched up 350 full members since opening its doors earlier this year.

JoziHub is a working space in Joburg’s trendy 44 Stanley Avenue precinct where members have access to a network of innovators and knowledge enhancing events.

In a statement, JoziHub says it has also attracted more than 1,000 community members. The community members are registered JoziHub event attendees and have signed up to a mailing list to receive regular information and event alerts.

In comparison, after starting operations in 2010, the iHub in Nairobi, Kenya has 11,749 members.

JoziHub was founded by the Praekelt Foundation and backed by Omidyar Network, Google and ISlabs.
