US-headquartered Agritech firm Levridge, together with ERP implementation firm iPlan Global, have partnered to deliver innovative solutions for agri-businesses in Africa.

According to the partnership, iPlan is a Levridge service provider and will utilise the agritech’s products to deliver solutions. The pact also combines Levridge’s expertise and agribusiness functionality with iPlan’s experience in enterprise technology implementation and support across the globe.

Officials said as agricultural enterprises face increasing pressure to improve efficiency, profitability, traceability, sustainability and operational visibility, modern ERP platforms have become a critical component of long-term success.

The Levridge platform is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and designed to consolidate grain management, inventory, commodities, logistics, financials and reporting.

Speaking at the announcement of the partnership this week, John Melland, CEO at Levridge said “Their (iPlan’s) global expertise in ERP implementation and business transformation complements our platform and creates a strong opportunity to expand our reach and bring Levridge’s industry knowledge and technology to new regions and customers around the world.”

South Africa-based iPlan echoed its partner’s sentiments.

“Together, we can help organisations simplify complex processes, streamline operations and realise the full value of their ERP investments,” iPlan Global stated.

The companies said the partnership would improve visibility across the grain value chain, enhance operational efficiency and resource utilisation, improve decision-making through real-time data and analytics, and scale digital platforms capable of supporting future growth.
