Hayo, a global digital solutions provider, has expanded into Francophone Africa by establishing a presence in Senegal and recruiting Abdoulaye Dabo as senior partnership and strategy manager.
The company noted that this move expands its regional reach to meet the growing digital demands of local service providers, businesses, and governments, complementing its existing presence in Niger, Liberia, Ghana, and Cameroon.
Dabo's new role will involve supporting French-speaking markets throughout West Africa. He brings nearly a decade of telecom experience in Africa, having previously worked for Airtel, LAfrica Mobile, and other regional players.
Dabo will drive Hayo's expansion across Francophone West Africa by identifying fresh opportunities and building strategic relationships, while leading the cross-functional delivery of voice and data and CPaaS solutions.
“There is huge opportunity across Francophone markets in Africa right now, and Hayo has the deep technical capability and localised knowledge to help our customers capture it,” commented Dabo.
Feraz Ahmed, CEO at Hayo, said: “West Africa contains several priority Francophone markets for Hayo, and having the right leader on the ground is crucial for supporting our customers in this region.
“Abdoulaye brings a wealth of local expertise, and we are thrilled to have him on board to enhance our strategy and support for service providers, enterprises, and governments in Senegal, and other key markets.”
